Why has 4th National Black Canadians Summit been postponed?

The 4th National Black Canadians Summit, originally scheduled for September 2024, has been postponed to February 2025. This postponement is due to the need for our co-founder, keynote speaker and friend, the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, to undergo major surgery. We wish her a speedy recovery and good health, surrounded by her loved ones.

When will the postponed summit take place?
The summit will take place from January 31 to February 2, 2025. We encourage you to check our website and communications for further updates.

What if I’ve already purchased a ticket for the original event?
If you have already purchased a ticket for the event originally scheduled for September 2024, your ticket will automatically be transferred to the new date in February 2025. You don’t need to do anything for this transfer to take effect.

Can I get a refund for my ticket?
Yes, we understand that the new date may not be suitable for everyone. If you would like a refund, please contact us before 11.59pm on October 1, 2024. We will process your refund request as quickly as possible.

Can I transfer my ticket to another person?
Yes, you can transfer your ticket to another person. Please send us the details (First Name, Last Name and Email) of the new ticket holder, so that we can update the registration.
