Led by two seasoned Black women professionals, this interactive session delves into the intricate challenges facing Black women in employment and service access. The session aims to empower Black women with knowledge to confront workplace and service discrimination. They will explore policy implications and legal strategies, fostering awareness.

Ikram Warsame is a human rights lawyer and an Entrepreneur. As a human rights lawyer, she focuses on complex litigation of human rights cases. She is also the Co-Founder and on the Operations Committee for the Global Black Collective institute, an international non-governmental organization founded by several UN Human Rights Fellows.

Andrea Pierce, is an International Business Leader and Executive Director of the Black Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub. She intervened at the 1st PFPAD on economic justice and gender equity for Black Women. She leads the UNDPAD PUSH Coalition and co-founded the Black Women Entrepreneurship Hub and ImmigrantsCAN IEHDC.
