Discover how Canadian youth are engaging globally through discussions on the role of youth in working for human rights and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. As the International Decade for People of African Descent concludes in 2024, its relevance to Canadian youth and how it promotes global equality and opportunity will be explored.  

Led by Candies Kotchapaw, advocate for equity, inclusion, and Black diplomacy, spearheads impactful changemaking initiatives. Recognized as a Top 25 Women of Influence, she pioneers evidence-based solutions to combat systemic barriers in influencing policy on international platforms. Her work promotes diversity and leadership among Black communities.

  • Raphaëlla Ayina, distinguished jurist, whose professional commitment extends into the non-profit sector, where she plays a significant role within the African non-governmental organization, L’Ordre Suprême des Ancêtres. Her dedication to diversity and community service is highlighted by her previous position for the Black Law Students’ Association.
